Jen wasn't feeling too well one night early in December, so I volunteered to give her the night off. I dropped her at home after church and headed out to a local eatery with the kids. It was the last relaxed night alone we'd have together for a while, and I'm glad I took the opportunity.
The kids loved it! AJ even took a couple pictures of the restaurant. Here he is, sticking his tongue out and giving the gangsta "peace five-ever" sign. I think. (Dope!) :: grin ::
We're just outside the restaurant, bathed in the glow of the night-time lights.

Through a Glass Darkly
This is not artificial, virtual, or software-induced distortion. This is really what I look like, and it's not a pretty sight. At least, that is, when you're peeping at me through a wavy table-top. (Though, honestly, I did add some digital smoothing and saturation enhancement.)
It's my best side.
